Friends,
I hope everyone has had a great week. Saturday was a busy but fun day for the campaign. I started off in Gulfport at the Harrison County Democratic Executive Committee Meeting. I enjoyed the opportunity to speak with them and I look forward to their help when we take our message to the streets in the General Election. From Gulfport, I headed over to my hometown of Moss Point to join the city in their annual Moss Point River Jamboree. It was a wonderful day of fun and fellowship in Moss Point. It was great to see so many of my friends and neighbors and to meet new people.
I am so grateful for all the support I have been receiving. To win this campaign, we are all going to have to do some work. Phone calls, canvassing, and social media outreach are some things we must all commit to doing. This campaign is not about electing just another representative, but rather, it is about electing the representation for you deserve!

Neighborhood Lagniappe
The Pascagoula-Gautier School district is now hiring teachers. This is great news for teachers who are looking for work. It is also a reason why we need to make sure South Mississippi is a desired place for professionals to want to come to work. Potential new hires often look for inclusiveness and economically progressive towns and cities to make their home. In Washington, I hope to work with our cities and towns in District 4 to create the next hub for young families and professionals.
