Onward Notes June 3rd - June 16th 2018

In the month of June our newsletter will be published biweekly instead of each Monday. On primary election day (June 5th) our Hattiesburg headquarters opens, AND we will host a Watch Party that evening as votes are tallied and the primary elections victors are decided. We hope that our Hub City supporters will join us as we await the news of who will be our opponent in November. Please come by and join us at the Hattiesburg headquarters located at 2018 Hardy Street.

On Wednesday, June 6th, the general election officially begins and we plan to come out swinging. There is feeling among the Mississippi Republican party that this election is in the bag because the establishment candidate “represents the values of the people of South Mississippi.” Imagine that! Your voice is already spoken for, no need to consult with you about policies that are affecting you and your family! Folks, that is not what elected representation is about and I plan to stand before my staff, my supporters, and the press and kindly inform the Republican party that PEOPLE ALWAYS HAVE A SAY and that YOUR VOICE IS NOT ALREADY SPOKEN FOR IN THIS ELECTION! I believe you have to earn representation, and I hope that I am earning yours.

Yard signs are ready to go out! Stop by one of our headquarters during office hours to pick yours up. We are asking for a $5 donation when you pick up a sign (unless you have already made a campaign donation.)

Biloxi HQ - M-F from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., CLOSED WEDNESDAY

Hattiesburg HQ - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

ALA (American Legion Auxiliary) Magnolia Girls State - June 3-7 at The University of Southern Mississippi - Representative Anderson will be a guest speaker.

PRIMARY ELECTION DAY 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (note if you are in line at 7 p.m., you still have the right to place your vote - do not leave!)
