Onward Notes May 27th - June 2nd

Friends,

I hope everyone ended up having a good weekend; and I am glad that we have avoided a potentially dangerous situation with Alberto - thus far. Sadly, my weekend itinerary was cancelled due to the threat posed by the inclement weather. The safety of my team, my supporters, and event attendees is always my main concern, and I will gladly err on the side caution every time.

As of today, we have exactly one week until the primary election. Next Tuesday, June 5th, we ask that each of you head to the polls and have your voice be heard. We have some great people running for to represent our state in the U.S. Senate; and they are counting on us to show in a wave of blue support! This is a good indicator of where we (Democrats) stand in the general election as well. It is time we start putting action behind our resistance, and show the wave of force we are bringing to the midterms. Vote for who you want to win; not who you want to lose. Get Out To Vote - and let’s Flip It Blue, Mississippi!

This week is a big week for the campaign as well! This coming Friday, June 1st, we will be opening our campaign headquarters in Biloxi. The office is located at 134 Rue Magnolia Street, Suite C. Stop by sometime, grab some literature, phone bank with us, or just stop in and tell us “Hi!”

Primary election day (June 5th) we will be opening our Hattiesburg headquarters, AND we will be hosting a Watch Party that evening - as votes are tallied and the primary elections victors are decided. We hope that our Hub City supporters can join us as we await the news of who will be our opponent in November. Please, come by and join us at the Hattiesburg headquarters; located at 2018 Hardy Street.

ALA (American Legion Auxiliary) Magnolia Girls State - June 3-7 at The University of Southern Mississippi - Representative Anderson will be a guest speaker.
