BILOXI, Miss. -- Representative Jeramey Anderson’s central message for his congressional campaign is accountability. In September he puts those words into action by embarking on a seven-day tour of Mississippi's 4th Congressional District.
Anderson and his team will start The People’s Tour on September 16th in his home district of Moss Point in Jackson County. After the kick-off Sunday, the campaign hits the road for six days, stopping in each county of the congressional district. The stops include a scheduled time for Representative Anderson to listen to the constituents from all 14 counties.
Speaking at an event recently in Pass Christian, Anderson told the crowd he is in the election because "the people of the fourth district deserve a representative that is accountable to the people of this district." The tour's purpose is to get to know the citizens of South Mississippi and to bring political power back to the people.
The tour dates are September 16th - 22nd. It will start that Sunday in Jackson County and end with a rally in Harrison County on the following Saturday. If you have questions regarding the tour or the scheduled stops, you can contact the campaign at 228-206-2129 or visit the campaign’s website at www.JerameyForMississippi.com for a full tour schedule.
