Secures Democratic Nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives, MS-04

Representative Anderson issues the following statement today:

“As of 5 PM yesterday, I officially became the Democratic nominee for MS-04 seat in the United States House of Representatives. I am honored and proud to have the opportunity to not only represent my party in the 2018 elections but to represent everyone in the district regardless of party affiliation with open and candid dialogue. I remind people this campaign is not about me but about the hard-working, diverse group of Mississippians that live, play, and thrive in each unique county of District 4. We have a lot of work to do, but if we stand united we can achieve almost anything. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to meeting as many constituents as I can in the months to come. Our first campaign stop is rally in Hattiesburg on Saturday, March 17 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Town Square Park.
