Local Congressional Candidate, Jeramey Anderson, Receives Endorsement From LEAP Forward

BILOXI, Miss - Representative Jeramey Anderson, Democratic candidate for Mississippi’s 4th Congressional District, has received an endorsement from LEAP Forward. LEAP Forward is an initiative that promotes “candidates for office who understand that gun violence is a political problem that must be solved politically, and who know that when it comes to gun safety, voters deserve a clearly stated position” according to their website.

Charles Yeganian, founder of LEAP Forward, said his decision to endorse Representative Anderson was based on his work in Mississippi’s State Legislature in regard to issues of gun violence and gun safety. Representative Anderson believes that gun-violence is a multi-layered issue and it will take a bipartisan commitment to address all aspects and build community effective solutions.
