Guest Speakers to Highlight Fundraiser for Local Candidate

T.V. Personality Montel Williams and Former Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander Highlight Fundraiser for Local Candidate

DIAMONDHEAD, Miss - U.S. Veteran advocate and former talk show host, Montel Williams, will join the former Missouri Secretary of State and founder of Let America Vote, Jason Kander, at a fundraiser for the democratic MS-04 nominee, Representative Jeramey Anderson. The event will take place at the Diamondhead Country Club in Diamondhead, Mississippi on Sunday, April 8th.

Representative Anderson represents House District 110 in the Mississippi Legislature. He is running for U.S. House of Representatives to represent the people of Mississippi’s 4th Congressional District. Representative Anderson serves on the national board of directors for Let America Vote. The organization founded by Jason Kander which is an advocacy group focused on ending voter suppression and gerrymandering. Montel Williams is an advocate for the rights of veterans and access to affordable prescriptions; as well as a nationally known advocate for those battling multiple sclerosis (MS). He was recently on Hardball with Chris Matthews providing commentary as a 2nd amendment advocate and gun owner during the nationwide March For Our Lives events on Saturday, March 24th.

The April 8th fundraiser is being held at the Diamondhead Country Club from 5-7 PM and will feature speeches by Jason Kander, Montel Williams, and Representative Anderson.
